Sustainable Growth from Generation to Generation
It all started in 1971 when our founder, Lee Boon Kher, yearned for a better life. He began his entrepreneurial journey by selling eggs from village to village on a borrowed motorbike. In 1980, he rented a shop front and established “Li Ta Trading”, a grocery business. After a decade of operation, Lee Boon Kher expanded his retail store into a grocery wholesaler with five shopfronts. In 1998, he purchased a piece of land and built his first warehouse with a shop front, capable of accommodating over 700 pallets of goods.
In 2015, Lee Boon Kher’s children joined forces with the founder to manage new business operations and expansion strategies. Our distribution channel was established in 2019, partnering with prominent brands such as Sunquick, Botan, Kapal Api, F&N Creameries, Wings Food, Parrot Botanicals, Rasaku, Mak Long Instant Paste, etc.. With a shared vision and unwavering dedication, we ventured into import and export operations in 2022. The same year marked the introduction of our house brand, “Delita,” with a mission to provide quality products at affordable prices to our valued customers.
Today, we have evolved into a leading distributor, importer, and exporter, with our fleet of lorries serving West Malaysia from Johor to Kedah. From 2015 to 2023, our sales volume has quadrupled, demonstrating our commitment to continuous improvement and exceeding the expectations of our business partners. This sustained growth is a testament to our ability to adapt and thrive.
